It smells amazing, not greasy, and the hold is stiff without being rock hard. The best product I've ever used, and I have the additional need for use with my handlebar mustache. While it looks red in the canister, it dries clear. It may feel too thin to use for a mustache, but it dries quickly enough that it holds a shape perfectly in seconds, so much so that I easily get daily compliments. With a little water it'll reactivate and hold and be shapeable , and a little more water will wash it right out. Do yourself a favor and give it a try, it's the best you'll use!

Excellent product! In my opinion having a pomade like this is an essential men’s hair product. I have medium length thick, coarse, wavy hair that can be very unruly and difficult to tame. This product keeps everything neat, tidy, tight, and in place. Keeps the hairstyle in place for the day and has great lasting power. My style is more of pompadour/classic quiff and this pomade helps cut back on styling time with its strong hold. The smell is very masculine and pleasant without being overpowering. It does have a higher shine which I think enhances the style I’m going for and gives it a more polished look. I found that it is possible to decrease the level of shine by simply blow drying. I’m using both this and redken brews (medium hold/natural shine), while both are great products, this pomade gets the job done better for what I’m looking for and my hair texture as opposed to the Redken. Definitely recommend Uppercut’s deluxe pomade!

This is a great product. It last longer because of its firm hold. Has a nice smell to it that will last. It’s gives a nice shine to my hair.

I have thick hair and have been plagued with a cowlick in the front of my forehead that causes a numerous amounts of problems. I've tried to tame it with everything gel, mouse, hair spray, wax, fiber, and even a straighter (lets keep the straighter part just between us). Long story short they all had there flaws. The closes thing I could find that worked for me was Baxter of California Clay Pomade, but the flaw with that is it is not water soluble and requires shampoo to get it out plus lots of time lathering and blotching enormous amounts of shampoo on over and over again. Not very ideal for everyday use. Then I found this baby Uppercut Deluxe and bam! I was in suave hair paradise! I have to say it keeps my cowlick in order with a super strong hold! It makes my hair look perfect! it holds all day! Yes I said it the sentence you were waiting to read. "IT HOLDS ALL DAY" It holds all day baby! (Cue the Celebration music) I can now due a clean comb over or slick my hair back with a undercut! and when the day is over go and rinse it right off with no difficulty at all! Why the four stars instead of five? Well unfortunately this product does cause me to breakout with some intense cystic acne on my forehead. Bear with me I have oily acne prone skin. Before I turn this product down for anyone who does have acne prone let me tell you I am currently on the search for an acne free pomade or any type of hair product that will tame my cowlick and hold all day and I have found nothing!! I am still using uppercut because it is the only product that works with my hair and washes off instantly. If you do not suffer from acne prone skin then this hair product is the best choice you can make! if you do suffer from acne prone skin I would still recommend it if you NEED a strong hold all day but be warned it might cause you to break out, but everyone has different skin so its hard to really say if that will be true

I’ve used a lot of pomades over the years and this one is hands down the best one I’ve used. Requires no water and must be applied in dry hair. Not too firm to where it feels like I have something stuck in my hair and long lasting with a good hold and no greasy look.

Used to buy Clubman mustache wax for years, a barber friend recommended this product for superior control. It is is not clumpy, it is pliable and has ultimate hold. It washes out easily. This is an excellent product and a great value.

Smells very good when I apply to my hair. It keeps a strong natural looking hold all day long even when it gets wet! Make sure not to let the product get all over the lid because after a few uses the lid gets stuck shut because the pomade acts like a sealant lol.

This product is a bit gazzy compare to Blind Barber. It gives extra shine and having a very nice aroma. Also this product doesn't hold for long time. I still find blind barbar perfect for my hair.

Llevo usando la cera Uppercut Deluxe unos seis meses y se ha convertido en mi producto de confianza para el día a día. Buscaba ese acabado clásico de barbería, con brillo pero sin dejar el pelo acartonado, y en ese sentido cumple perfectamente con lo que promete. Esto es lo que más destaco tras este tiempo de uso: 🔹 Acabado y Estilo: Deja un brillo retro muy bonito, ideal para peinados tipo pompadour o rayas laterales marcadas. Aunque el fabricante indica fijación fuerte, en mi experiencia personal diría que es una fijación media/alta: mantiene el pelo en su sitio pero sin esa sensación de "piedra" que dejan otros productos. 🔹 Cero Residuos: Es una pomada de base acuosa, lo que es una ventaja enorme. No deja ningún tipo de residuo blanco ni sensación pegajosa durante el día. Además, se elimina súper fácil con un simple lavado. 🔹 Aroma Adictivo: Sin duda, uno de sus puntos fuertes. Tiene un olor a galleta / dulce muy agradable que se nota al aplicarla pero que no resulta empalagoso con el paso de las horas. Es, posiblemente, el producto para el pelo que mejor huele de los que he probado. 🔹 Si te mueves en moto, ten en cuenta que no resiste el casco. Al ser una fijación que no "suelda" el pelo por completo, en cuanto te pones el casco el peinado se deshace y es difícil de recuperar sin volver a aplicar agua o producto. Si tu rutina incluye trayectos en moto, quizás necesites algo más rígido. Resumen y recomendación: Es ideal para quien busca un look impecable y brillante para la oficina o eventos sociales. Si valoras que el producto sea fácil de lavar y que huela de maravilla, es una compra segura. Abstenerse si tu prioridad es la resistencia extrema bajo un casco.
