Sentinel Shredders FM121P-BLK 12-Sheet High Security Micro Cut Paper Credit Card Shredder with Waste Bin Shredder, Black

My previous shredder - one that I bought while working out of my home - needed to be replaced. But as I did not need the power (or size) of the previous one, I purchased this shredder. And, it more than met my needs. Compact and get the job done.

While it's easy to maneuver and the controls are simple to operate, I rate it as a failure overall because it did not hold up. It started jamming within a few months after we received it, even though we shredded no more than 5 or 6 sheets at a time and regularly used the lubrication sheets. This is a home use shredder, so it's not like it gets huge amounts of use. After 15 months, it will no longer shred anything and is completely useless. The cutting wheels turn and it makes noise on both forward and reverse, but it will no longer feed paper through the cutters. Our other shredders have lasted for an average of 4 years. We've had Sentinel before and that's why we bought this one. We did notice it appeared to be less sturdy than our pervious Sentinel shredder. That should have told us to send it back. Buying this Sentinel shredder was a waste of money.

The shredder worked great but it just died, not even a year old. Pretty expensive for less than a year of use.

IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A 12 PAGE SHREDDER AND THAT WAS A JOKE IF I TRIED TO SHRED 12 PAGES IT WOULD GET STUCK SO I WOULD HAVE TO REVERSE IT. THEN IT STOPPED WORKIING ALTOGETHER. IT WORKS IN REVERSE ONLY BUT THAT DOES NOT HELP ME.

After using it four times and having it for only a month, the shredder stopped working! In addition, it is a very noisy shredder. Not quiet at all! Luckily, we were able to return it to Amazon for a full refund since we were within the return time frame. Do not recommend buying this terrible shredder.

i bought this in May of 2020 and it is no good stopped working save your money don't buy. i am mad do not buy sentinel !!!!!!!!!! who can you complain too, i am handicapped and they give you a rotten product that only works for a couple of months., I am mad about getting ripped off by Sentinel. SENTINEL NEVER GOT BACK TO ME SO I AM OUT $125.00 ONLY LAST 6 MONTHS.
