Incredible Customer Service. Great Paint.
Ok let's start with the paint. I ordered Stone Castle and it is exactly as the name suggests. It's a cool gray that's very much like stone. It's a beautiful neutral that looks perfect on my wood kitchen cart that I wanted to paint. I used 2 coats and it covered my piece flawlessly, having only used a small fraction of the can! I will definitely find other uses for this color chalk paint in the future. Now let's talk about the customer service. From the onset I ordered a color that I thought was gray but wasn't (Everlasting). My coloration on my computer was wonky (check your phone to compare colors, and also check the sample pictures the seller posts for the colors). The seller found out my problem and contacted me to make it right. FIRST, they refunded me for the paint without requiring me to send anything back. SECOND, they altered the color of the swatch to more accurately depict the color I received and posted pics of my project as an example of the color. THIRD, they suggested the color I was actually looking for (Stone Castle) AND credited me for the purchase as a thank you for working with them on correcting the swatch of Everlasting. It was definitely above and beyond service from them. I am thrilled with how it was all handled, and with how my project turned out with the Stone Castle paint. =)

Fantastic Product
I refinished my husband’s old desk, for my 13 year old daughter. This brand of chalk paint is outstanding! This is only my second time refinishing furniture. The first time, I bought Retique It, and I was amazed at the ease of use. So, it was a no brainer to use Retique It on this project, as well. Each coat dries in 30, has low VOC’s (odors), and you don’t need to sand anything. Consequently, I refinished the furniture right in the room where it would live. It’s one of the easiest projects I’ve ever done. The color is saturated! One of the best purchases I’ve ever made!

A Solid Go-to!
I'll start with the negative since there's only one issue I had through this process... When ordering a custom color (which I did more than once), be sure to order all you need at once. I fell a bit short and had to order again at a later date and it wasn't a good match to the original can :( It cost me a lot of time and extra work to get it to come out right. I'm sure the seller would have helped me out, but I knew a way around it and so just pushed on... That said up front, I really liked working with this paint and the seller is great! I did my kitchen with a custom color on the bottom (Behr brand 'woodland sage') and the the standard renaissance 'snow' white on top. The brushes, the paint, and the wax are all wonderful products and got me through the entire process in just 3+ weeks (and that includes taking the time to re-drill all the doors and upgrade to hidden, slow-close hinges)... If this paint had been difficult to work with, it c/would have taken a lot longer. The 20+ year-old stain on my cabinets was very orange in tint so it did take 2 coats of the green and 4 total coats of the snow white to cover properly. The wax is smelly, but goes on with ease. And with only the first coat on, it had become fairly waterproof. The second coat cinched it! I definitely recommend these products for large and small projects alike!

Works great and covers up flaws easily
This stuff is great! I ordered the light blue which is called "Robin's Egg" and it is awesome! It is basically a tiffany blue and looks gorgeous. I have a camper and wanted to change the cabinets and doors from a dark blue to more of an antique look. I love the shabby chick look and wanted to use this to get it. The paint goes on easy, is thick, and hides flaws easily. The cabinets are older so there are cracks, bumps, etc on them and this paint over it made it look great. Pictures are attached. I used three coats of paint due to the blue underneath was super dark, and even though two coats would of probably worked I wanted to be safe. Despite using that many coats the paint was completely dry in about 2 hours. My only recommendation is to not go overly thick on this paint or when it dries there are cracks in the paint. Overall, this stuff was easy to use. Maybe it's just my nose, but while painting with it I also didn't notice a smell at all. Yay!

Pretty Good
I was gifted a white dresser that had turned yellow even though my room stays dark most of the time. I had used Annie Sloan brand chalk paint to update a desk at my mom's house, but I dont live close to any distributors of that brand. My mom swore up and down that Annie Sloan is the best, don't bother with anything else. But since is saw so many photos in the reviews and since I didn't pay for the dresser, ergo wouldn't give a crap if it got ruined I figured I would give it a try. The color was true to the picture online, I chose the Egyptian blue which is like an electric cobalt blue. It was quite separated in the can and required a lot of stirring before it was ready. One coat was almost good enough but it looked lovely after the 2nd coat. I appreciated the consistency of the paint. It was viscous but still had enough moisture to paint on easily. My old roommate who have me the dresser had stuck sticks all over one side and peeled them off leaving a gooey mess that I unsuccessfully tried to scratch off. The paint went right over it like nothing. I would recommend being careful not to let the paint glob in areas of detail like divers or carvings, go back over those areas when your brush is drier to make sure the details stay sharply defined and there is no excess paint pooling. The only thing I didn't like was that when I slid my dresser back into place it bumped the wall and left blue marks on my wall which took a long time to scrub off. I probably should've let the dresser dry longer and polish it a little more but like I said- this dresser was free so whatevs

Amazing coverage and color!
Based on reviews, I painted several pieces of furniture with this brand of paint in the pale pink and royal blue as well, and I'm so glad i did! I havent worked with other chalk paint, this was my first time. It was thicker than normal wall paint, but not so thick it was hard to paint with. Because I had been painting, I used a brush that had been saturated in water overnight. That turned out to be about perfect for my projects! I would occasionally dip the tip of the brush into tap water and that kept the consistency perfect. This color is a deep emerald that really gorgeous! I'm so happy with the quality! I did by the bigger size. The can is about as tall as my hand, and for all my projects (legs of 2 chairs, legs of a Dining table, and an 8 ft. bench) I prolly used just 2-3 inches off the top of the can.

easiest biggest job I ever used paint on
I was afraid for the longest time to tackle my kitchen cabinets until my daughter painted a piece of furniture she had with chalk paint. wow what a difference it made. So she inspired me. I found this company offered exactly the color I was looking for. You see the bottoms in the first picture before I painted them. Started with the tops. I feel like I have a new kitchen! This paint is great. Goes a long way. I bought a gallon and really didnt need that much. So now Im on the hunt of what to paint next. I did buy a clear wax to put on the cabinets made for chalk paint at lowes. After all it is a kitchen. good luck if you have a project you want to start. You wont regret this paint at all. update I decided to do the base of my kitchen island to match the cabinets I am so happy I did now my kitchen looks like a totally new and updated kitchen love this paint be sure when you use chalk paint that you have your brush in a cup of water and then take out the excess then dip into the paint take your time and do thin coats to start then you wont be lines in your paint strokes

Dining table looks better than brand new!
I purchased a beautiful dining table years ago. Problem was the top was stained brown and the legs were black but I wanted the whole table black. I did a terrible job trying to refinish it, and ended up putting a table cloth on it to hide what I’d done. Didn’t expect it to take 6 years before I got around to fixing it but life happens. I sanded down my old botched paint job, applied 1 coat of Binz primer, three coats of this paint in midnight black, and two coats of satin spray polyurethane. (With drying time between all those coats, this project took 3 days.) I love my table even more now than when I first bought it! My husband was shocked at how beautiful it turned out, and all of our guests have raved over how nice it looks. You can’t tell this table wasn’t always like this straight from the manufacturer, which is exactly what I was going for. I’m definitely going to repurchase this paint and refinish my coffee table in the spring.
