Usually I don’t bother to write reviews, however this is a product that must be talked about. This cream saved my skin after nothing else worked. I used lamasil and other creams, these seemed to ether make it worse or nothing at all. three weeks went by and my skin was terrible. I had it on my legs arms and back! The itch was insane so hard to sleep at night. By the time I came across this it had been 3 weeks of suffering. The minute I put this on, the itch was gone! I couldn’t believe it. Ringworm spreads fast and it’s highly contagious, the only thing that finally helped was using fungal wash to clean the affected area twice a day everyday, this must be done continuously. Also using a new clean towel every time for each area. One for the top of my body and one for the bottom. Final step was to apply the cream twice daily right after washing up. It’s a lot to work and it’s a pain in the ass. But it’s the only thing that made it better. New bed sheets every night so as to not re infect my self. Ringworm can stay i surfaces for months!!! Disinfect your house and be consistent. Hopefully this helps somebody. I couldn’t find any valuable info anywhere just bits and pieces, so here it is! This product is costly but effective and nothing else works! To me, it was worth every penny. Also I sued about 6 tubes and found that buying more at once was cheaper.

UPDATE: Tolnaftate seems very effective for my skin. I wanted to update my review however because I just found the generic version at Target for $3.99. Same amount. Same strength. ORIGINAL: I developed itchy patches on my skin after 2+ years of breastfeeding. My baby didn't have full-blown thrush in her mouth but my doctor suspects that some fungus from her mouth must have transferred to my skin. I have since stopped breastfeeding for 1.5 years but the itchy skin is so stubborn and continues to come and go. The Clotrimazole Betamethasone my doctor prescribed helped with itch and squashes flare ups but never completely eradicated the problem. It's a constant struggle and now I have skin discoloration. I found this product on Amazon with Tolnaftate as the active ingredient. I use it together with the Clotrimazole and the my itchy skin condition is much better. After a month, it rarely flares up. I hope that with prolonged and consistent use, my problem will go away once and for all. I also really like the cooling tea tree scent and feel. Helps relieve itching. For a 1 oz. tube of OTC antifungal cream, it is pricey but it is also FSA eligible. And the fact that it is working for me makes it worth it!

Good stuff

This is natural so it takes an awfully long time compared to getting the prescription. It saves time from not having to get a doctor's appointment, waiting in the office for a couple of hours, then wait another hour at the pharmacy. If your doctor is like mine, you wouldn't be able to get an appointment anytime within a week. It took 14 weeks for my ringworm to go away using Phytozine. I would recommend it and I would use it again.

I bought this after reading all the reviews about how good it was and how it worked fast. My teen granddaughter developed ringworm from some stray cats we captured. It spread all over her arms legs stomach and neck. She used the Phytozine religiously for 7 weeks going thru a complete tube. She still has ringworm. She has some that got better but never completely went away. So I would say it wasn't a good choice for us but it may work great for others as in all the good reviews. For the price I was a little disappointed. I had better results on myself on the much cheaper Lamisil from Walmart. So she has started using the Lamisil.

Not sure how or from what I got ringworm on my hand but it was scary since it was my first time ever getting it . I was told to get OTC antifungal cream by my doctor and that it would go away. So I got Lamisil antifungal cream. At first I thought it was kind of working but it seemed no matter how many times I put it on, it was taking way too long to go away. I used it for 3 weeks and the ringworm was actually starting to get bigger and still felt itchy all the time. At this point, I began to get annoyed and frustrated because it just wasn’t going away. So I decided to go on here and see if there was anything good that will actually help me to get rid of this thing. Came across this cream that had many good reviews and so decided to try it. Immediately after one application, it seemed like it was finally starting to get better. And after 2 weeks of applying it, the ringworm is basically gone. I would definitely recommend it!

Worked a bit, but not 6 times the price of Tinactin better.
