My ancient c2004 Rockustics were blown and I used these as replacements for the innerds. First I took them apart to find Fifa A16CG-21-04 speakers inside- last available on clearance for $20-$30 a pair. Definitely didn't want to drop another $800 on new Rockustics after discovering that. So I ordered these. They sounded pretty tinny when test wired naked. Agree with a review saying they sounded like a transister radio. But installed into the Rockustic shell, replicating the good seal, they now sound GREAT! Excellent bass. Know that the fit was a challenge. The Fifas had screw holes 5.25 oc and nothing out there looked to be a good fit. These are 5.25 on the face, but the included foam circle, screws and little brackets did the trick with a bit of futzing. We are again rocking on the patio. THANKS!

These speakers look nice and sound very good. They are several steps above the stock speakers that came standard on our Starcraft Pontoon Boat and failed after just 2 years. Good sound without much distortion to speak of at mid-upper and high volume. I would definitely purchase these speakers again and strongly recommend them for marine applications. Well built, weather resistant construction that resists sun fading in a nice looking speaker that compliments the boat's interior nicely. One caution: the speakers are quite beefy and deep and you will need to make sure that if you are replacing a 5.5" speaker(s) with these speakers you will need to ensure you have some additional room to enlarge your speaker opening!

I needed to replace the speakers in my boat and was hoping to find speakers that matched the existing mounting holes. These are advertised as 5.25" speakers, but the face plate is a full 6" (the manufacturer told me that the face plate was 5-1/2"). The circular cut-out for mounting needs to be 4-1/2" (not 4-3/8" like the manufacturer said). I'm really not sure where the 5.25" measurement comes from; even the box calls them 5" speakers, so go figure. Fortunately for me, I needed the 6" faceplate (I guessed that the manufacturer's rep was wrong) and the mounting holes lined up perfectly. Note that your cut-out needs to be almost perfect as the screw holes are just outside its perimeter, and if you make the cut-out too big, your screws will have nothing to grab; too small and the speaker won't fit inside. The sound of these are better than the original speakers in the boat. Strong bass, good mid- and high range, and able to take the power of my new radio and be played loudly to offset the sound of the boat motor. Solidly constructed. A great buy!

For my application, replace front speakers on my Victory Vision motorcycle. They are a bit over sized and would not fit the 5.25" speaker holes. BUT, these speaker did fit nicely into the rear speaker location. ?? I believe the larger basket design of this speaker is the reason it won't fit in the forward location. That being said, these speakers are a nice upgrade from my factory speakers. They actually sound nice with out being too tinney/bright at high volumes. The poly cone construction and sealed foam surround means no water will damage this speaker. Worth the cash, love same day shipping, and I am overall very pleased with this.

I purchased these to replace my worn out hot tub speakers. What can I say, they're awesome for what little they cost. They were about a 32nd of an inch bigger than my old speakers but if you have a fine steel file you can file your speaker openings a little bigger and they're slide right in. They do come with a rubber gasket but I would suggest going inside your hot tub cabinet and using a silicone seal around the edges just to make sure it's a water tight seal. They sound great as I'm sitting in the tub relaxing. Couldn't ask for a better speaker at such a low price. I would highly recommend these to anyone needing a hot tub replacement speaker.

Love the sound these speakers put out. They also aren’t to much on the wattage to have to upgrade your amplifier. Also they do come with a hole diagram so you know how big the hole is going to be for the area you are installing them in.

Stopped working in a week

I bought this speakers for my motorcycle, made custom wooden box for them. they work, and they are loud as well. but sound is bit distorted, the most sad part is that they do not produce any bass. frequency response for these speakers is 120hz to 18k. I am a musician, and i have nice quality speakers all over my house. you can't even compare the sound of real brands to this. even my Sony speakers i bought 30 years ago have better sound. So... for a regular person this might be a great choice for the price, but, i would highly recommend you buying more expensive speakers, for better sound and bass.

If your looking to upgrade your camper trailer speakers. These are the ones you should buy. At their price point its hard not too. After reading the reviews(with a grain of salt). I figured id give them a try. They damn near fit in the existing holes on my camper. However you do have to shave the holes a bit bigger. But nothing too crazy. They are an easy install. They sound and look great(better than the originals) Well worth the money

Wonderful sound and getting complaints to turn it down (which is music to my ears). A little thick for the trailer but made them work.
