Sturdy, good looking microphone stand for table or desktop
I've been using these On-Stage Stands for years, just this time I bought them on Amazon and not from my regular retailer just for the fast Prime shipping. These stands look great and work like a charm. The base is heavy enough to hold many microphones without toppling over. It's not too tall in most situations when put down all the way, but the adjustability does give you versatility with the infinitely adjustable height (versus if there were notches for height settings). From amateur presenters to professionally established & seasoned voice actors, everyone has enjoyed using these stands. Remember to order wired or wireless microphone clips if you do not already have them; this is not included. What you get is a thread rod ending that the clip screws onto. If you are looking at these and on the fence, Go For It. These are a great value for the cost, especially with these being an economy to mid grade budget item. You won't be sad.

always reliable and quality build from on-stage
always reliable, quality products from on-stage. my students run a sports live stream for high school sports games and needed a small stand option for our mobile streaming unit commentary mic and this tabletop stand was perfect. youll just need to provide the mic clip/holder for the mic youre using. it was the perfect height and size for the space we had to work with. ive been using their products for years, never had an issue with their equipment and this is no different.

An excellent self-defense weapon that doubles as a handy microphone stand...
I received this microphone as a gift for Christmas because I was just entering into audiobook narration, and needed a stand to hold my microphone. What is this, and why might I want it?: This is a desktop stand for a microphone that has excellent build quality and will enable you to hold your mic for recording purposes. You might want it if you're going to do voice overs at your desk, or even just dictate using Dragon Naturally Speaking, Google Docs, or some other voice recognition program. It would also help for Skype calls or any other sort of communication using your computer. First Impression: The funny thing is, I didn't know what this was when it was wrapped under the tree. I was thrown off a little bit by the density, or weight, of such a small package. That's a good thing, because it's simply demonstrates the heavy-duty nature and durability of the stand. Assembly: Assembly a straightforward. Take the pole, stick it in the hole, and twist to tighten it down. You can adjust the height, as you can see in the pictures comma from about 8.5 inches to about 13 inches. The base is heavy enough, but it doesn't seem to get top-heavy with that range of heights. Function: If you have a standard microphone, this is definitely the table for you. It works great with a Shure SM 58, and it was able to hold my blue yeti, no it was a bit top-heavy since the yeti is a monstrously big microphone. Per standard microphones, you can't go wrong. What you're getting with this order: When you open the box, you have the two pieces that fit together for the microphone stand, itself. And instructions, so I'm not sure they're needed. What you're not going to get: There is not a clip for a standard microphone. Given that mini professional microphones can screw directly to the shaft of the stand, that's not really a huge concern. However, if you have a standard handheld microphone, you’ll need to get a clip to go with it. Appearance: Flat black, with no bells and whistles. I do like to the base has a rougher finish, that keeps it from attracting fingerprints and you can't really notice that dust nearly as much. Build: This thing is solid. We're talking “ if someone were to break into your home at night, and you were sitting at your desk, and that's where the first thing you pick up… you would easily be able to complete the act “in the library with microphone stand”” solid. Any negatives?: I can't really fault the stand for not holding my blue yeti, especially when I add the shock mount to it. I did not take a start off because of this, since the stand is Compact and does exactly what it's supposed to. Bottom line: You'll end up with an excellent, compact microphone stand. And one that can easily be used for self-defense weapon in a pinch.

Pretty good.
Fit my Rode NT2A shock mount fine. I wish it was actually a little shorter for desk duty however. As it is, I ended up pointing my Rode downward instead of upward to reduce the overall height. The mic functions about the same but aesthetically its a little off from the desk. This also balanced it a bit better for less worry of tipping. When I mounted the mic pointing up on the shockmount, but center of gravity was higher and it was more easily "unsettled".

Simple, Classic, & Strong
This is an absolutely great little mic stand, with as classic and simple of a design as possible. Simple is always more likely to get the job done correctly than it's opposite. This thing has a good amount of heft to it, perfect for just about any microphone with a SMALL shock mount. There are a lot of people who have purchased this, only to realize that the bottom isn't heavy enough for their purposes. I am currently using it for a Blue Baby Bottle, with it's stock shock mount, and it is at a comfortable balance. If you were to add a little bit more weight, then it would be likely to fall over easily. You can use this fact to do the math as to whether it would be good for you, or not. The following is not a con. It's just something to look out for- It comes with a sticker on the pole, and I didn't find it to look very good. Mine wasn't easy to remove, either. I had to use some goo gone to take it off.

Solid And Stays Put. Great Product.
I wanted to replace the tripod stands of my old Audio-Technica ATR2100 mics with heavier tabletop stands. I tried two different brands, and On-Stage is the clear winner. It's solid, well-built, and heavy enough to stay put. The height is adjustable and locks in tight. With these particular mics, I did have to buy separate holders (I bought the Mictop Universal Microphone Clip Holders) because the holders on my old tripod stands aren't removable. It was a nice upgrade for podcast guests without breaking the bank. Nice product.

Bin sehr zufrieden!

Sağlam ve masaüstünde yer kaplamayan bir mikrofon standı arıyorsanız rode ds1 yerine bunu tercih edebilirsiniz. Aynı işi görüyor ve aynı sağlamlıkta. Kampanya dönemine denk geldi 2 aydır Rode nt1 Signature ve rode psm 6 shockmount u ile kullanıyorum. Çok memnunum ve kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum.

UPDATE: I ended up also purchasing the shorter, non-adjustable version of this stand, and it is fabulous as well. Because they're both variants of the same listing here on amazon, I can't create a second rating. But it doesn't matter, because they're both 5 stars. Very versatile and sturdy. If you need a very low mic mount stand get the shorter, non-adjustable one. If you need some height adjustment, get the taller one. Job done. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Not much to say: it's sturdy, well made, and has good height range. Works great for lightweight mics, and even mid-weight mics. Heavier mics can be used if you use a small 2.5 or 5 pound dumbell weight with 1" hole, placed on top of the base (with the stand part run through the dumbell weight).

Great product! Very sturdy and way better than the original mic stand that my AT2020 came with.
