Nice sound
I was looking for a deep toned chime that didn’t break the bank. This one is really nice and has a good sound. So far it has held up to southern rains and winds, no signs of rusting. I hung it on a garden pole near patio. When wind kicks up (it needs strong breeze to chime) it’s a beautiful sound with a very calming effect. Have a few of different chimes with different tones makes for beautiful music.

Loud
My father wanted a loud clamber to scare birds, this did the job, it is very loud. Louder than we thought, but has a good sound. Well made

Nice sound
I really enjoy the sound from this bell. When I first put it up no matter how hard the breeze blew it would not make any sound. I decided the clapper was to small to catching the breeze. I replaced it with three CDs tied together in a line. This was what it needed! Now the slightest breeze will make it gong.

Deep Toned Wind Bell
This is a really nice wind bell. It's not a "chime" as it has a deeper tone and it is really a single bell. It is just what my husband was looking for. He was actually looking on a different site and the cost was almost 3 times this -- so this is a really good value. The bell has the calming effect my husband wants when he meditates. The bell itself is solid and seems like it will last a long time. We had some good wind this afternoon that really let us hear the tones it produces. Very peaceful. It is super easy to install if you have a place to hand it. I like the dark color of the bell as well.

These are really cute -Edit- YOU MUST SLIDE THE SLIDER DOWN
These are really nice. They sound like church bells. I got two so I can really enjoy them. They are made of a thick metal. The inside “ball” is attached with a string and I wish it was attached by a chain instead because it seems like the string would wear and tear in a small amount of time and fall off or detach from the windchime. It takes a bit of a strong wind to make it “ring” but it’s definitely a nice relaxing sound. Very calming. I can’t wait for the next windstorm so I can enjoy these. I imagine even during a winter storm these would still sound nice. So far, so good! -EDIT- so I noticed there is a movable piece up inside the chime. I thought it was there to secure the ball but I couldn’t help but wonder why they’d put a knot under the adjustable piece. See photos. The chimes don’t ring very often at all even during the wind so my husband explained to me that you have to untie the knot and adjust the ball inside to make it ring more. I’m going to do this tomorrow and will update my review again. I have 2 of these wind chimes and they don’t chime enough. Hopefully this fixes the issue as I’d like to hear them chime a lot. -Edit-Inorder to make these chime more you simply slide the little plastic piece that is inside, next to the ball, over the knot. The ball then slides down falling downward to the bottom of the bell part. It’s hard to explain in words. There’s no need to u tie the knot to move it. The barrel is too small to put your hands in and the plastic piece simply goes over the knot. Then you will see that the ball stays in place with that not making it chime more. What a headache. Changing my rating from a 5 to a 2 because no where in the instructions does it say this. Also the wind catcher is not nearly as strong enough to move the ball in the wind. It weighs very little. There needs to be more weight. A good idea but a poorly made product. You never hear them chime. What’s the point? I was able to get the little black slider to go down and the ball to fall lower. So now when it’s really windy, I can hear the bell better. I now own three of these but you’d think one would be enough. They aren’t really loud. I may have to spent closer to $400 to get a good, loud bell chime but I’m hesitant Becky I need three of these to even hear them, a $400 one may not even be loud enough. I just hope this fall is very windy so I can actually hear and enjoy them. Have them 3 stars because of the hassles but when they DO chime, they are nice. I just cannot find the right spot. I did super glue a fishing weight to the bottom of one of the wind catchers and will see if that helps any. Should not have to do all of this but we’ll see.
