Meat Mallet

This video is the reason I bought this meat mallet. It’s hilarious. My family loves our steak & chicken so I’ve had the chance to wear out a lot of Meat Mallets! Ive just received this meat tenderiser from Mountain Grillers and used it for making veal schnitzel last night, and I can say that we’ve found the best tool for the job! This tenderizer from Mountain Grillers is a meat lover’s dream mallet. First of all it’s beautifully designed, with a polished finish, that’s dishwasher safe, - which is a definite plus. The mallet fits comfortably in my hand and the head is perfectly weighted and balanced for pounding and tenderizing. Other mallets I’ve tried the head would come off mid pounding, because they were too heavy for the tool. This tenderizer tool doesn’t slip in my hand, and is very effective for both flattening my cuts of meat in seconds, as well as using the textured side for seasoning, so the flavour really gets into every bite - mmmm…yum! And, they included a handy hook on the end, so I can hang it up, instead of cramming it into my kitchen drawer - I’m a very happy customer and I’ll be ordering from Mountain Grillers again.

I was looking for a meat tenderiser and was put off a lot of other brands due to mixed reviews around quality etc. I'd previously purchased a burger press from this same company and was impressed by the quality so decided to go for this tenderiser. I'm happy to say that the same high build quality and finish carries across to the product. It looks very nice, feels nice to hold and is easy to clean. Most importantly it has a nice weight to it so works really well. Highly recommended.

My go-to tool in the kitchen has always been Grill or the big plan. Always I prepare chicken breast for the whole week as part of my meal-prep plan. I prefer to use the slices as I get from my butcher so I don't have to weigh them every time. Sometimes I feel the marination doesn't enter the chicken fully and I don't like to make cuts. This was recommended by one of my chef friends and I decided to try it out immediately. Arrived last week and I could barely wait until weekend to try this. At last the weekend arrived and pulled this out of the package. Very easy to use, smooth grip(handle) and had no issues pounding the chicken breast before it went to grill. A very good product that am happy with. Would highly recommend.

Very impressed with this tenderiser. It is very well made, strong and sturdy. Why only four stars. I was expecting one face of the tool to have spikes to pierce the meat to a reasonable depth to enable marinades to soak into the meat. The face to use according to the box was unable to penetrate the surface to any depth at all. Disappointing !!

I really loved the look of this meat hammer, and the non slip silicone handle is very comfortable to grip and the rest is sturdy stainless steel. It is a good weight and doesn't seem or look cheap One side of the mallet is flat and the other is textured. The textured side doesn't break the meat apart unlike others Ive had before. I made stuffed chicken breasts and used it to pound the chicken. Also it is dishwasher safe which is a big plus as my last one was wooden so needed to be washed by hand!! I would definitely recommend this mallet for tenderising meats.

Very happy with this meat tenderiser. It's compact but relatively heavy, so it does a really good job without taking up too much space in your cupboard. It's also really well designed, making it handy to grip and easy to use on all kinds of meat.

Well packaged. Solid mallet used to beat flat chicken breasts for breading and shallow frying. It is a good weight and seems to be very well made (in the past wooden handles have fallen off and some have very sharp surfaces). Easy to clean. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Looked for one of these for a while this is perfect as it has a flat side as well as the serated side. So chicken ect won't be smashed to shreds Perfect find and worth the money
