Diversity and beauty
First of all, this doll is very beautiful. Her big green eyes and red lips are printed perfectly, her brown hair is soft and silky. Secondly, a doll with a prosthetic leg is something comletely new to the market. It shows that every body is beautiful, everything is possible even when it seems it's not. One of the greates dolls produced in the last few years!

She's a beautiful doll
My daughters selected this doll as a behavioral chart reward. They hadn't noticed the leg when selecting, but did (of course!) upon arrival. They named her Sammie. 🙂 This barbie is good quality and invited very open dialogue about differences in people. They love her. It's nurtured a deep respect for these differences.

Beautiful Doll & Love The Message
I was so excited when I heard about this doll and I couldn't wait to get her! She has lovely face paint and hair, and her outfit and earrings are super fun. I love the message on the inside of the packaging as well! I know some people are upset her legs don't bend, but that is standard for the Fashionistas line and doesn't bother me. (I realize the Fashionistas in wheelchairs are an exception, but they have a Made-To-Move body and are twice the price of other Fashionistas.) Maybe they will expand the idea in the future and add more articulation at a higher price point, but I have no complaints about this doll for what she is. Way to go, Mattel!

Brings an understanding to children
Great product. Purchased this after getting the Fashionista Barbie in the wheelchair...Our granddaughter was very concerned about Grampy being in a wheelchair. He eventually had a below the knee amputation and is now being fitted for a prosthetic leg. This doll was a great help by showing her that Grampy is going to have a leg like this Barbie!

Not a made to move, stiff doll, her legs do not bend
So overall I like this doll a lot! I also found her African American counter part on Amazon and bought her too (search “African American doll with prosthetic) as with that doll I don’t like the clothes on this one either but changed them. I also would like a made to move body and would pay the extra for it. The diversity and inclusion in this Fashionista line is why I buy them so I’m pleased with my purchase. I don’t collect them to look at we play with them. The dolls represent people in this world and people we could meet in real life and be friends with.

Almost Perfect
A fashion doll with a leg prosthesis is nothing short of awesome, and the fact that she isn't hiding it is truly bada$$. Her face is stunning, she's got a really cute layered haircut and I don't hate her quirky outfit. Also, the prosthesis is removable. What hurts my heart is that her knees don't bend! And I know that Fashionistas dolls' knees don't bend, and for this price point it would have been impossible to make a fully functional prosthesis, but this is such an important doll that I feel it should have at least been bendable.

Perfect. Best value for money
My daughter loves the versatility of theses dolls and how they include handicapped Barbies. We now have one in a wheel chair and a prosthetic. She has already picked out more dolls from this line that she would like to have.
