Wound Care Made Incredibly Visual!

I added this book to my collection as I’m in school for Wound Care. Love this book as it helps me to understand much better. Great for visual learners!!

This is an excellent text for teaching wound care basics. The diagrams are colorful, clear and fun as well as accurate.

This book is even easier to understand that most of nursing textbooks out there. If you love to study more about wound care, save yourself lots of money by just getting this book instead of buying expensive courses.

The information is broken down pretty simple. It’s a great book for beginners. My only gripe with this book is the pictures. The book is called Wound care made incredibly visual. With this particular title I expected high-quality pictures. However, some of the pictures in the words are faded out or the printer ran out of ink or whatever reason but the bottom line is they’re not high-quality pictures. This book was bought brand new so there is no excuse to have pictures in it that looks like they have been fading for the past 10 years. If the book did not emphasize, it was making wound care incredibly visual, It would’ve gotten a pass with these pictures. However, this was the point of buying this book as opposed to buying other books.

I really like this series. Very user friendly. I use this book as a resource for teaching new Nurses & CNA's about the Wound care basics.

I bought this book to prep to the WCC exam. I love that it has visual explanations instead of just words droning on and on. This makes it really stick this way. 100% recommend.

Given the title you would expect the illustrations in this book to be very high quality. They are not. The content is useful as a basic introduction to wound care, but the almost newsprint quality of the paper and the poor printing of the illustrations make the book a lot less than “Incredibly Visual!”

Great book for teaching
