Teaching Kids Authentic Worship: How to Keep Them Close to God for Life

I purchased this book for my class at the Kentucky school of ministry, we had to read through the book and do a study guide given by the school. The information in the book was well grouped and very helpful in learning more about my kids (I'm a children's Pastor) and how to KEEP them pointed to God! A must read if your a person with this same mission!

I chose this book because I myself was having trouble with the meaning and ways to worship our most awesome God. I saw it was written with the idea to teach children about worship. Your book really impressed and inspired me. It answered many of my questions. Thank You for sharing.

This is a well written and helpful book for teaching how worship focuses totally on God and not on self. She gives excellent "worship moment" ideas. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants children to really get to know God and not just be entertained.

This book has really blessed me in how I worship and praise the Lord. Jesus said "Let the little children to come to me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the kingdom of heaven". We adults need to think and respond to God as a child would. Children in their uncluttered mind can express their feelings about God so clearly. Reading this book has given me a new look at worship in it's purest form. To simply worship God for the cool things He does, for the pretty things He makes, and for the way He works really makes worshiping God a delightful experience! I highly recommend this book!

What a timely topic. I was pleased to find this book and enjoyed Kathleen's thoughts on the subject. She has some great insights about how to keep our kids grounded in faith. I enjoyed the book very much.

This book is wonderful for those who have a good idea that they want to teach their children about worship, but a faint idea of how they will actually go about it. I actually am going to recommend that my church give these books out for baby dedication services - I believe it is a must read for all Christian parents.

For anyone interested or already involved in children's worship, this book is essential. It is well documented, well written, and inspirational for those who wish to keep children in church for life. While one may not be able to utilize all the actual lesson suggestions, they are varied and well presented.
