Full Color Biometric Time Attendance System for 3000 Fingerprints - Fingertec AC-100C

We purchased this reader as a punch clock about 6 years ago and it's still going strong. Used by about 35 people every day, it's fairly easy to set up and just works. For the odd employee that has trouble with the scanner reading their print, there is a pass code method that works great. It's straight-forward to add people to the system and customer support is very helpful when you want to set up a new feature. Highly recommended!

The unit was difficult to set-up and was almost impossible to get the software to update. The unit does and excellent job recognizing fingerprints. The unit does not allow an employee to determine if they are checked in or not. I returned the unit and purchased a more expensive model from another manufacturer.

When we first started to install this product it was impossible, but thanks to Ben King we got it going, or I should sayhe got it going. The software is not user friendly, but again, after several phone calls to Ben who was more thanpatient with me, I am fairly comfortable with Fingertec. I know that if I have a problem all I need to do is call Benand he usually calls me back within two hours. So the product is good and the service is amazing.

I've been looking for a good Biometric Time and Attendance Clock, not so expensive. With this model I just hit the jackpot. It's so simple to use and the interface is very user friendly. The software works great and has a bunch of cool features. I was having issues getting the transactions and contacted Tech Support from FingerTec and they were great. They responded my email within 3 hours and solve my problem right away by connecting to your PC and help you see what you did wrong.So it's great if you need this sort of system and also great tech support can't hurt, right? ;)

The media could not be loaded. Worked for two years and it broke. We only have two users and for it to have broken after only two years of use for his price isn't reasonable. Of course it's no longer under warranty and we have to send it to new york for what may be a $75 fix for the screen or a $20 fix for the power cord--plus shipping. Don't like the fact that employees can't check time unless I hook it up to a computer and give them a numeric password to check. (We are using the fingerprint function so that the no one else can clock people in but I will be doing more research before we purchase the next model for our other location.)We currently don't have it hooked up that way but looks like I will have to or I have to check all the time. Directions are AWFUL. Had to call customer service several times. Works other than that.

This is an awesome unit and a good price! I can't complain. I bought this to upgrade from a TQ100 terminal which lacked severely in features and functionality!Some of the main features I like in this unit is the networking ability, stacking and using multiple terminals and being able to group them as I want and the colored LCD that shows your print when scanned (that's awesome looking and can help if your print is rejected you actually get to see WHY it was rejected because the image is on screen). This thing boots up super fast because it's running on a Linux OS. The ability to transfer finger print profiles from one terminal to another is great! Saves you from re-registering users all over again if you have multiple machines.For the price and the fantastic tech support you get I'd say this is a great deal!

AMAZING PRODUCT!!!The support treat every client like Fortune 500 . They don't care what issue is they answer every call. Owners arent' afrid to get on call as well. Never saw anything like it.
