Works very effectively, splitting the shell and exposing the mud vein for easy removal.
I have worn out these from repeated use, so I have a lot of experience cleaning all different sizes of shrimp species readily available here on the gulf coast. I love this product so much, I ordered two. They are very easy to clean after use. They also store very well when not in use. The bright color makes them easier to find in the utensil drawer.

Great for a non traditional use.
I use this tool for turning the corners on sewing and embroidery projects. It works great for that. I got one for shrimp and one for sewing. Then I bought two more to share with my embroidery club.

Easy shrimp peeler
Peeling shrimp is no easy task but these handy things make it a little easier. I used a fork prior to discovering these things! Worth the purchase.

Having broken a friend's treasured Deveiner, it was with disbelief that I found the identical one even though the original was over 8 years old. Fortunately the replacement was one of a pair, so I now have my own. RESULT!
