Don't get me wrong - it's a beautiful watch! But I am still disappointed. In fact, this watch is not as large as it seems on Amazon page and is much less attractive from an aesthetic point of view, as contrasted to my other Stuhrling watch (see photo attached). Again, opinions may vary. Also, it's not practical - the hands are almost invisible. That's a big flaw imho. I am giving it 5 stars but still returning.

I've realized of the two Stührling watches I have bought both in style are really great but in reality have basic time keeping longevity issues right shortly after the warranty expires. This watch has never kept good time even after they serviced it to fix the problem. Stührling watches are pretty to look at but has horrible responsiveness in customer service when issues arise. I won’t buy another Stührling watch because they can’t guarantee the watch will keep time even if you wind it. And yet it has the internal mechanisms to self wind with the movement of your wrist and still can’t keep time. Shoddy work of cool looking watches that have become costume jewelry only. Buyer beware if you buy one which I won’t again, be ready for simple parts to fail shortly after the warranty expires. Hope Stührling will step up their fine watch making, their responsibility to a reliable and working product, and make their watches more long lasting beyond a paltry two years.

Great looking watch! It is a very big piece. Just purchased so I can’t speak to the reliability. It does have a nice weight to it as well. Overall satisfied with the purchase.

Gorgeous watch! Much nicer in person

Don't get me wrong this is a beautiful watch, but because the pendulum only winds with a swing in one single direction you cannot take it off and leave it for a day without it losing time. Overwind it and set it down for a day and it moves fast. Underwind and leave it and it runs slow. Basically you have to wear it for it to keep accurate time all the time.

i bought this watch as a gift to my husband. after 3 months of use the watch quit working. we sent it to a warranty repair, which it got done...2 months later the watch quit working again and it is really difficult to get a hold on someone in customer service.. very disappointed with the watch because it is such a good looking watch

Was looking for a really nice watch at a decent price and Stuhrling really shines in this area, absolutely stunning looking watches. This watch in particular looks nice especially for formal occasions. One downside to this is that as you can see in my photo, the actual colors of the watch aren't as bright and vivid as the actual promotional photos in normal circumstances. So definitely not the vivid bright blue around the edge... however I don't mind this. Another is that long nails are required for taking the dial out so you can change the time... otherwise you'll have to use a thin piece of card or something. It is an automatic so the movement of your hand winds the watch, you can also twist the dial to wind it... if you plan on not wearing it everyday expect to have to wind the watch and change the time every time you want to wear it. I definitely recommend this watch and generally this brand.
