Not quite there.
Looking at this scope, you have to compare it to the comparable Trijicon T31 ACOG.Just like the ACOG, it has excellent glass. The field of view is also comparable or larger than the the Acog, and the build quality is excellent. It is a solid, well made optic.The let down is the reticle. There is no way to see the reticle in sunlight. It is just not bright enough. You can use the ACOG up close because the reticle is bright enough so that you don't have to focus on the target or reticle and keep both eyes open. Not here. Finally, with Trijicon you have a lifetime warranty for the original owner. Meprolight gives you one year. I really wanted to like this scope. If they had a brighter reticle and lifetime warranty, this could be a contender to the T31. As it is now it is not, at least not for the US market. These are probably made for the IDF as a local alternative to the T31 and the US market is just a small afterthought. The support just isn't there.

Very clear, easy to use with both eyes open, feels very rugged. I did a lot of research before making this purchase and I truly trust this scope with my life.
