Got it for about $50 on sale and no regrets here. It’s not the most intuitive to use, but most scanners aren’t. Updating the firmware was a bit cumbersome since you have to use a PC to download the file. But for simple OBD code reading and clearing it works well. Not intended to read advanced DTCs like ABS or SRA codes but will read any check engine code. Saves you a trip to the auto parts store and having to deal with the limited capabilities.

I always wanted a device like this that I could use without any complications, and I finally found the best one... easy to use and understand... I liked it.

My first scanner, with that being said it is easy to use. Accurate with a good display, easy to connect, functions as it should. All at a good price. Instructions are useless. So far so good.

Great value and quality built (so far) Manual that is included is small and vague and not very useful but I went online and you can download and print if you want a very good user manual that explains operations much clearer and there you can check and update your software version if needed but this one already had the updated version I like the rubberized cover nice and compact and the display is okay but could be a little bigger There is a bit of a learning curve but the online downloadable website manual helped tremendously I emailed customer service with a question and received a reply in under 24 hours that is impressive I’ve never used one of these before but right now it seems to be a very good product and I’d recommend it

Best Bangalore for your buck. Very accurate live data stream, straight forward code pulling and clearing. Shows current and pending codes. This little thing has saved me so much diagnostic time.

I bought this to reset the check engine light on my 2019 Toyota Prius after changing out the water pump. I wanted to ensure that there were not any additional error codes hiding underneath the main code for the water pump before simply resetting the CEL. It turns out there were 2 codes thrown which this unit clearly specified by listing both the code and the meaning of the code in clear, simple English (no need to look up the code online). This is a huge improvement over a much older OBD-2 reader that I own which is finicky and annoying to use. Furthermore this unit immediately turned on and just worked as soon as it was plugged into the OBD-2 port. For the price it is an excellent tool to add to your toolkit if you do any sort of work on cars. I did not try out the battery check feature so I can not really comment on that. Overall, if you are in need of an OBD-2 reader I would definitely recommend this one. It is easy to use, requires no setup, works perfectly and is reasonably priced. What more could you ask for?

well they send a pamphlet on operating the tool which isn't much but I haven't hooked it up to my truck yet so I will take for granted that the screens for diagnosis will be more informative. It is just a basic scan tool to read codes and maybe reset your system instead of unhooking the battery which is what I usually do so it is at least worth that much and to see what the code amounts to and I am just a regular individual and not a shop so I am not doing any in depth diagnosis either.
