A Must-Have for the Modern Home Theater
For years, users have had to compromise between input switching and output splitting. The FERRISA 4x2 HDMI Matrix finally solves this, offering professional-grade flexibility in a compact, consumer-friendly package. This device is the nerve center your complex A/V setup has been waiting for. Performance and Versatility (5/5) The core functionality of this matrix is flawless. Supporting 4K@60Hz (HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2), it delivers pristine, high-bandwidth video quality without lag or artifacting. What truly sets it apart is the 4-in-2-out matrix mode, allowing me to simultaneously send different sources (say, a PS5 and a Blu-ray player) to two separate displays (like a 4K TV and a projector). The Game-Changing Auto Downscaler (5/5) This feature alone is worth the price of admission. If you run a mixed setup—a high-end 4K TV and an older 1080P projector, for example—most switches force both displays to the lowest common resolution. The FERRISA's Auto Downscaler intelligently converts the 4K signal to 1080P on the fly for the lower-resolution screen, allowing the 4K display to operate at full capacity. This eliminates the headache of having to manually change settings every time you switch rooms. Superior Audio Control (5/5) Audio extraction is often an afterthought on these devices, but the FERRISA makes it a priority. The ability to independently extract audio from either output via both Optical (SPDIF) and a 3.5mm stereo jack is fantastic. This means you can keep your main display audio running through your HDMI eARC setup while simultaneously routing pure audio to an older soundbar or dedicated headphone amplifier. LPCM, DTS 5.1, and Dolby AC3 support ensures compatibility with high-quality sound systems. Final Verdict From its durable, heat-dissipating metal chassis to the super responsive IR remote control, every aspect of the FERRISA 4x2 unit screams quality. It is widely compatible with every modern source I tested—from PCs and streaming boxes to the latest gaming consoles (PS5, Xbox). If you need to manage multiple 4K@60Hz sources across two different displays without sacrificing resolution or audio quality, the FERRISA 4x2 HDMI Matrix is the best tool on the market. It's a top-tier performer and an easy recommendation.

Overall, this is a solid and reliable HDMI matrix switch
The FERRISA 4x2 HDMI Matrix Switch has been a great addition to my setup. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do—smoothly switching between multiple HDMI sources and outputs without signal loss or noticeable lag. The picture and sound quality are excellent, and having 4 inputs with 2 outputs gives a lot of flexibility for different devices and displays. Setup was straightforward, and once connected, everything worked reliably. I really appreciate how convenient it is to route different sources to different screens without constantly unplugging cables. I use this to switch between a firestick, playstation and media box, to send the picture from the 3 different devices to a tv and a projector. you can watch the same thing on both or different things on both of the devices simultaneously. it is great That said, the remote feels cheap, and the buttons seem delicate, so I handle it carefully. Also, I do wish the indicator lights on the front of the switch would dim when not in use. They’re quite bright for their very small size, which can be noticeable in a darker room. Overall, this is a solid and reliable HDMI matrix switch that performs well and offers great functionality. Despite the minor design quirks, it’s a strong value and I’d still recommend it to anyone needing a versatile HDMI switching solution.

Works fine
It's working fine. I found out the issue is my mac studio M1 running Asahi Linux. Sometimes the display drivers on my Multiple Mac Studio setup crashes.

Reliable, great performance, very good value, I really like this switch
I'm very familiar with HDMI matrix switches, having owned them for many, many years as a very heavy user of this particular type of equipment (family home, not professional setting). When my (different brand) original one died of old age, I bought a bargain box to replace it. We soon found that this bargain box had several problems, including failing to pass through audio on at least two separate sources, plus poor IR signal rejection from other remotes, and interfering codes that shut the box down. I searched for a new box and found THIS current Ferrisa switch. I am extremely pleased with the performance of this switch! It not only solves the problems of the cheap switch I bought, but it out-performs my old switch, as well. The box is dang-near perfect so far; I cannot find anything wrong with it, and there is a whole lot right with it. The box switches fast between sources, it switches reliably, it rejects other signals (which means that I can use it with my IR extender just perfectly!), and it passes through all signals with accuracy. I have two (2) completely different spec TVs connected to it (an LG traditional HDTV and a Sharp Roku HDTV), as well as four (4) varied HDMI sources (a TiVo, a DVD player, an Amazon FireStick, and a Google Chromecast). Audio is routed through the main TV path to a Bose box in one of the rooms and on-board in the other, but I could route audio from the switch if I wanted to -- a nice backup feature. The IR repeater I own lets me switch from both the living room and the kitchen, with the box receiving the IR repeater signal perfectly and responding immediately. The indicator lights on the box itself are bright enough to see, but not so bright that they interfere with viewing in a dark room, like some other boxes do. The on-board source switching buttons are a great backup to the remote, if I ever need to use them. Overall, I have to say that I'm really pleased with this switch! It was worth every penny, and I learned my lesson buying cheaper switches. The price point of this switch is very fair for what you get, and I'd recommend it to anyone.

I purchased this product but couldn’t use it for some time. Despite delivering to Australia they did not provide the correct power plug to use here and instead sent a US plug. When I raised this issue the solution was for me to purchase the correct plug from them and they would then refund that money. That is not a solution I feel is in the best interest of the customer. The product seems to working well so far

I recently ordered my second matrix switch. They are ideal: connect up to 4 HDMI devices to up to 2 screens. All combinations are possible. Easy control by the buttons on the switch or with the handy remote control. Device feels decent quality because of its all metal body. It's a bit strange to have output 2 to the left of output 1, but you get used to it. The dip switches at the back allow you to configure which supported resolutions and audio settings are communicated to the outputting device, but you can also choose to simply pass the information from the screen on output 1. The switch is powered with a usb to barrel jack cable (+- 1m), no USB-adapter included though.

I was skeptical of this product when it arrived, no brand name, metal casing and no plug. I was weary of the metal casing on a product you needed to plug in and with no brand name on the product and the fact it was made in China I thought maybe it was a cheap counterfeit product and that maybe the CE European quality seal that was on the product could also be fake. Well, I still don’t know whether that is the case or not, but I found a plug that met the requirements for voltage and amps and whatever else and plugged it in and it’s working great! I might not leave the house with it plugged in if no else was going to be around, but I’ve had it plugged in for several hours at a time, passively sitting there and also actively in use while gaming or watching a dvd on a device running through it. I had a very specific need for such a device for use as a gaming rig for running a HMDI to USB - C capture card to a computer while also being able to see the output on the tv and it works perfectly for this. There are larger numbers of input and output slot versions out there, I saw an 8 in and 8 out at one point, but this serves my needs. I also haven’t seen any issues with picture quality, it’s supposed to be 4K & I have a 4K tv and an Xbox Series X. I’ve watched dvds, blu-rays and 4K discs through it too using the Xbox as the disc player and it seems pretty perfect to me.
