Excellent product! Bought these for my kiddos to wear while hiking, biking, etc. and they have been perfect. The bladder is easy to fill and doesn't leak. There is that "plastic" taste but it will go away with time. The pockets are large and great for snacks, sunscreen, bug spray. There is also an outer mesh pocket my kids use to stow their hat or sunglasses. My kiddos are smaller at about 56 inches and these fit fine and will fit even better as they grow taller. Love that there were 2 in different colors. Great buy.

Used these for Beale St. Music Fest 2022. They were perfect and just what I needed without breaking my budget. There were specific rules on what you could bring and I even had mine inside of my clear backpack on one of the days. Holds plenty of water and stays cold a really long time, (I put ice inside mine). Only dislike is that the hose is kinda hard to dry out and takes a while. The bag that holds the water wasn't too bad to dry out at all I just stuck a serving utensil in it to keep the corners and stuff apart for fast drying. Great deal if you ask me, I've never used an expensive water pack, but I can't imagine there being that big of a difference to make those other items cost so much more (unless it is made to hold a lot more water/ or has the capacity to hold a lot of other things besides water) ~If you are trying to find one that can hold a whole lot of other things, then I wouldn't recommend these. ~If you are wanting a water pack that has a compact design with the ability to carry a few important things, these are perfect for the job!

good backpack hydration packs. The only thing I did not like is the handle on the bladder was on the top. This design makes it difficult to hold and fill the bladder. It is so much easier to fill up when the handle is on the bottom. But they still work well, they dont leak.

Perfect size and design. No leaks. Receptacle is large enough to allow you to put ice in with your chosen drink. I fill mine with water, ice and an electrolyte sachet and it keeps me going for hours on bike rides. It’s small enough to fit inside another backpack and this is mostly how I use it so that I can pack all my other riding essentials. Very happy with this purchase.

Love the two pack for this price. Both look really good. I got them for my teen kiddos as we walk almost daily, and it’s super hot where we live. There was zero leakage, easy to fill and adjust, you do hear the water, but I can’t speak for bouncing because we didn’t run with them just walked for 50 min. The straps make it easy to adjust to your size. They fit both my kids; one who is 5’6 and one who is 5’ at different weights and builds. They held up really well in 90 degree weather and kept the water cool. Only when you first drink, the water sitting in the hose is warm, the rest is cold. This would probably be good for cycling and hiking. There’s also storage which is great for energy snacks. When we were finished we emptied the rest of the water and let them air dry to prevent mold.

This is an excellent value. Light weight and easy to use and clean. Just got them yesterday, 4/11 and put 1 to use the same day. I have a very large garden and it is a pain to run back and forth for a drink to keep hydrated during warm weather, so a hydration back pack seemed ideal. I use flavored electrolytes in my water, and the bladder did not alter the taste. Even though I only gave the 1 I used just a quick rinse. Oh, they fold up nicely to fit into a pack for ease in transport.

This really is a great hiking pack for kids because of the size but there are major downsides after a few years. We've had this almost 5 years now, and I only just noticed the mold in the tube. Gross, I do think it was there for awhile even though we rinse it out/use filtered water. The mouthpiece does not disconnect from the tube so while you can run water through it, it won't ever fully dry. The cleaning instructions were unclear. Also, the cover for the mouthpiece is a flimsy piece of plastic, so it broke off within the first year of use - with kids, you'll want a cover over the mouthpiece as it has a tendency to drag on the ground. Overall, I wanted to write a good review for this backpack and while some may say 5 years is a good run, I think we need to push companies to do better about creating quality products. At the very least, I would be willing to purchase new tubes but that doesn't seem like an option, so I am now needing to buy a new brand.

I bought these for my kids (6 and 3 yo), but although they are are a bit big there are a few things about the design that make it a great option for them still: -Pockets: there are 2 big zipper pockets and a mesh pocket on the back, which means that the kids can carry their own snacks and if they want to carry sticks/stones, they can grab as much as they want to carry! -Hose connection: Normally the hoses are really hard to clean on these, but these detach completely, which made emptying it and cleaning it SOO much easier! -Mouthpeice cap: If you have kids, you will be able to appreciate how nice it is that there is a cap on the mouthpiece. Not only does this keep the mouth piece clean, but it also keeps the valve closed so the water doesn't leak everywhere. It also works great to attach the hose to the other shoulder strap to keep it from hanging down. Long story short, I wish they had one that was smaller so I could steal these from my kiddos. I have a Camlebak and my husband has a High Sierra bladder bag. Both have their advantages, but this design beats them both. Aside from a smaller size option, the only design thing I would change is if you could adjust the height of the chest strap so it could fit smaller kids a bit better.

I have two younger boys and it just make perfect gift. They both just started using with their scooters and those hydrate backpack make it easier for them. The product is well made and light weight. I will recommend it for low budget buyer and quality is good enough.
