Great for clipping nails but not so great for baths.
This has saved me some trouble on a few occasions. Not all my cats like their nails clipped and some days they get fussier than usual. (Especially if someone is visiting.) All the zippers give easy access to every foot. Easy to get the cat into and out of and if you need to pull the handle to reposition the cat it does not choke or pull on their neck. I will state that a small sized adult cat will be "swimming" in it and you'll have some trouble getting at their legs even at the access points. Large cats will be very snug in this. We have a very large male cat and he fits just fine but I would imagine a large male Maine coon or Norwegian Forest cat might not be able to fit in this. I have tried to use this to help bath a cat and while it can help keep them in place it isn't practical. So if you plan on purchasing this to help bath a cat just know you'll have trouble reaching all of their body to scrub them and it doesn't have the best flat of bottoms so the cat can roll. I ended up just removing the cat from the bag and finished washing them without it. ( Adult cat was a recent stray and I wasn't sure how their bath etiquette would be. ) Takes a long while to dry out as well. Works best for nail clipping! ( I'd imagine this might be good for small dogs who need their nails clipped too! )

Works Well With My Aggressive Cat
Well, my cat isn't all that aggressive -- she is a very loving older cat. But she HATES having her nails trimmed. I used to take her to the vet to have them trim her nails, and while that isn't all that expensive, it sure gets to be a hassle over time. I bought this a few years ago, but was too scared to try it out right away. Of course, the first time, my cat didn't know what to expect, so she went in willingly. Once the actual nail trimming started, she freaked out (like normal). But I got them all trimmed. I was worried the second time. Would she run away when she saw the bag come out? No, she didn't. I've found that what works best with me is to put the hood/muzzle on first. With that on, she seems a bit confused (doesn't run away or act out). Once the muzzle is on, she allows me to pick her up and place her atop the opened bag. Again, she doesn't freak out, but she puts up a very mild protest. Not enough to prevent me from getting her in. Once she's in, I fasten the velcro strap around her neck and then make sure her body is positioned correctly to allow me to zip up the main zipper (closing her up inside). After she is locked-up inside this little kitty bondage suit, I unzip one of the front paw zippers, taking out one paw at a time to trim her nails. This is when she goes berserk, trying with all her might to stop me. She tries hard to bite me, but the muzzle prevents that. She tries to claw me, but I only let one paw out at a time, and I have control over it. It isn't a fun experience, but it allows me to get the job done. And when the job is done, she is resentful for a short while (under an hour) and then back to her normal loving self. I've only used it about 5 or 6 times so far because she doesn't scratch the furniture (so I only trim her nails when/if she starts getting stuck in the carpet or other things). So in MY experience, it is very useful on a cat that hates having its nails trimmed. But all cats are different. I can imagine some cats might bolt once they see the restraint bag being taken out of the closet. Mine doesn't for whatever reason. And putting the muzzle on first seems to make a big difference. I can't imagine trying to get her inside without that...

Pretty good but not good for strong cats
I'm floating between 3/4 stars. Really, the bag was fine and I felt like it was well made. My cats even liked it at first and the gentler one let me zip her up! But as soon as I started to clip her nails it was kind of a disaster. She even was able to halfway turn around in it like a kid getting caught in a sleeping bag. Ahh! But the bag did help a bit at first as a restraining device and I clipped most of her nails, but pretty much with me still holding her the way I would with a towel. However, I purchased this size for my bigger boy cat, not for the smaller cat, so that's why it was slightly big and maybe why she was able to move around more, which might have had something to do with it not fully securely/calming her. My boy cat is nuuuuuts, haha. He's strong. He does not let this kind of thing happen, really. So if you have a strong cat who is defiant and independant... don't even bother, haha. I could get the velcro around his neck and maybe one paw near the opening, but he could easily get out of the velcro so it was a non-starter. Both cats didn't love the mask, but the girl tolerated it for a bit, and eventually both could get it off. Though it was super cute and easy to put on. I think I just have a big, strong, kookoo, defiant cat (who sounds like he's tap dancing because I still can't cut his nails on my own), so this kind of thing maybe isn't for cats like that. Given all that, the bag seems to be constructed well, but the zippers on the sides did open easily so it wasn't like, a foolproof way to keep their paw out, they could just bring it back in, or, in the case of my boy cat, any movement of his could unzip those zippers easily. He's not even huge (maybe 11/12 lbs?) just a wild child. So if you have one of those, maybe not going to work. OR, you need someone to help, that could have made a difference. I live on my own so even after almost two weeks of slowly trying to introduce him to this, it was just not worth it, sadly! If you have better patience and/or a calmer cat, I would recommend.

Decent, order a smaller size than you’d expect.
Decent cat muzzle, slightly oversized (I ordered a medium for an average sized cat, a small would likely work unless you have a Maine coon or literal bobcat). Not nearly as good as a veterinary quality muzzle (Jorgensen vet supply), but for a fraction of the cost I can’t complain.

My cat remained calm and unfazed by the muzzle which was easy to fit. I was able to clip his claws quickly without any apprehension on my part. I wish I had found one of these years ago...Happy Cat and Owner.

This works great. Easy to get her into and zip up. Once we are holding bag I put the hood on her. So easy to cut her nails. I bought a second one to leave at the lake. Good product for anyone with a crazy biting scratchy cat.

Can't get my cat into the bag without assist from second person. Not helpful for me as I need to use this solo. Unless you have a very laid back cat or can train from kitten to accept going into the bag, this isn't going to work...

Worked really well for our huge Maine Coone cat, we bought the large and it was perfect. Managed to trim his claws quickly and without any scratches, used the muzzle too, just as well as he tried to bite...was over in minutes. Very happy with it..

What I Like - This made cutting cats nails so much easier. In my family I’m the designated groomer. One cat in particular just doesn’t like having her nails cut. This muzzle takes a lot of the stress away due to the fact they can’t see what’s happening around them. It works well at keeping them in place as well, as they don’t want to wander around without being able to see. The velcro strap is extremely easy for putting it on and taking it off, but also keeps it in place really well. Sizing is a little strange - you might want to get the bigger size if you have a long haired cat who’s full grown. The smaller size works well for more narrow faces with short hair. What I Don’t Like - Nothing yet.
