X Hot Individual Iron

I purchased this club to complete my purchase of the iron set this spring (2013). I was using another brand of sand wedge, and after using this one my approach shots to the green improved astronomically! So easy to use. Can use a very easy swing - just let the club do the work. I live in the northeast and while using this wedge in sand traps it may be a little difficult to use because of the high "bounce" angle. However, while using this wedge in Florida it really comes into its own where it can take advantage of traps - the sand in FL versus the sand in NH is quite different. Wonderful build quality, great feel - congrats to Callaway!

I recently picked up the 3-PW of this set and I absolutely love them but the lofts are so strong if you don't pick up this AW you're going to have a huge gap between your pitching wedge and your gap or sand wedge.

Slightly used club in good condition. Little different from 4-AW set I just bought (new sets of irons sometimes come without SW; a way of forcing you to pay more without initially realizing it) in design or feel. Leftie options are a little limited without ordering custom clubs. The price was right. I would shop from the Callaway used club store again.

I only go to the driving range but when ever I go I had a hard time finding a good club for lefties. So I bought my own and I love it. It has a long shaft which is great because I'm tall and it has good wait that allowed me to hit further with out having to swing to hard. It felt great and I can't wait to find the right driver for me.

Well First I would like to say I love hitting Irons over hybrids. Hit the driving range then I went strait to the course. The course was so tight I played with my three Iron most of the time to tee off with. I was hitting it about 240. My last 3-Iron was going about 200 to 215, but it was 17 years old.This club has not helped anything but a little distance. But that little bit helps.

You'll love this wedge! It's not as good as the "XR" series from Callaway but it does the job. Expect a nice shot into the green from about 80 yards.

This was the missing club to complete my new set. I would have given it 5 stars but I was not happy with my order because what I was shipped was not what I ordered. after contacting amazon they fixed the problem but it required me to repack the wrong merchandise and wait for it to be picked up. A week later I finally got what I ordered. The roll of wrapping paper that I received in error had a tag on it identifying it as the golf club I ordered. This makes me believe this was done by a disgruntled employee and not done by mistake. Shame...Shame! Needless to say I was not happy.
