However, I’ve noticed that some cans are a bit mushy, while others are firmer, so the consistency isn’t always the same. I also usually rinse them to reduce the sodium. Overall, they’re a convenient staple, just with slight quality variations.

If you make hummus and want to control the salt level in your foods this is a great choice. These beans have no added salt in them so that is great. They do have Kombu Seaweed in them. The salt content of a whole can is 175 mg. When I make hummus that is about four servings. With tahini, a little seasoning salt and a few spices these beans are easy to process in a food processor for about a minute! Since I started using these garbanzo beans, my husband asks for hummus a lot more often. These are the only canned garbanzo beans that I feel comfortable you doing without having to rinse off the fluid it is contained in. This company goes the extra mile by creating a very nutritious product. I like warming them up a bit before I eat them and these are the only canned garbanzo beans that I feel comfortable emptying the entire contents into a saucepan, warming up, and eating. The flavor is superior. The quality is superior. I eat a lot of garbanzo beans and this Eden brand is worth paying the extra money for. Of course when I have time to make them myself from dried organic garbanzo beans, that is always a treat.

豆はとても大切な栄養素なのに、日本は豆が少ない。なので、エデンのカンズメは必要、 もっと種類を増やして欲しい。キドニイ豆も欲しい。

早速開封、缶切りがないと開けられない。缶切りなんて常備していないのでマイナスドライバーとハンマーで無理やりこじ開けた。 あまり柔らかすぎず、食感が残っているのが良い感じ。当たり前ではあるが味は付いていない。 料理に使うのにかなり適していると思う。
