These bags work great for sealing chickens for in the freezer.

I absolutely love these! Easy to use, even for my husband....plus BPA free, totally worth it and will absolutely buy again!!

Product works great except for one small change, if your birds are on the bigger end, say you got the 3-7 lbs size bags and your birds are close to 7, even like 6.2lbs, DO NOT puncture with knife and put the label over the puncture hole. The labels aren't waterproof at all and will slide off with very little water on the bag. The holes will also expand fast and become tears and split. USE the straw method instead.

We processed 200 chickens and ran out of shrink bags and I needed a small quantity (50) pronto and didn’t have time to wait for a product from our trusted supplier. These were perfect. Not one bag split, they came with zip ties, worked just as well as the trusted supplier. So helpful that they were here in 2 days. Good product if you only need a small amount fast.

These bags are really strong and that helped because it was a very tight fit getting them on. I think I’ll order the larger bags next time because it took 2 of us to get it over 7-8 lb chickens. We had a few that the hole expanded to 2-3” from just a tiny pole after it came out of the water so I’m not sure if it was just because it was a tight fit or what the issue was. Would buy again but would just get the bigger size.

I bought these to use on chickens that we butchered and they worked great. Made the birds look even better. One thing I noticed as we used them that they really need to be dunked into water that is much hotter than the recommended temp. We ended up with the best results after our water had come to a full rolling boil. We put on some heavy rubber gloves and quickly submerged the bird. After we’d worked out the kinks the birds had a nice polished look to them. The stickers to cover the hole in the bag were a nice touch. Overall, we were pleased with how the bags worked and how the birds looked.

This was my first time purchasing or using heat shrink bags. After years of using ziplock style freezer bags and loosing my meat to freezer burn, I decided to try these bags. I purchased the 10x18 size for my fryer sized 2 1/2 pound rabbit whole carcases. Followed the instructions on the 8 rabbits I needed to freeze today. It was so easy!!! I did try the method of using a straw inserted just for the heck of it with less than perfect results but was satisfactory. I then tried the instructions of a 1/4" slit and it worked perfectly every bag!!! Sealed tight and neatly around every rabbit. I even made sure to leave some leg bone protruding a little on two of them to test the strength of the bag. The bag sealed neatly around the bone and never once tore or punctured! I am hoping they protect against freezer burn for the said time frame. That is yet to be seen, but I am 100% happy with these bags and I will definitely be purchasing more soon!!! I highly recommend these bags!!!!
