I needed to control a led strip outside, so i fitted the device inside a waterproof enclosure and it worked great. Great value for money.

Bluetooth only stays linked for 2 minutes, if you can find the effect you like it will stay on that until you reselect the controller after powering down and then up. Power level seems to be the issue, throw more amps at it and it stays connected

Done the job I needed it for & an excellent price, if there’s better out there please let me know.

This replaces my 1st, which lasted one year, Perhaps being in a cool garage doesn't bode well for longevity, but this works perfectly for now. And the cost makes it great value for money too. I am going to put this in a box, see if that helps. Edit: it's now the end of February, and the controller has failed, this time the strip light is stuck on permanently and in White only. So, I'm buying one more and hope for better longevity from a new one, hopefully not the same batch as before.

Don’t buy, plugged in and started flashing my strip red. Then tried the app on 3 different phones and none of them worked, including an old android phone which other customs said could fix the issue. Just not showing up in bluetooth list.

Works but not very well, colours don't match on the app, if you want red you have to press green for example, also whatever voltage you put in comes out the other side the same so if you put 12v and your neopixels are 5v you will fry them

buy the BTF lighting version as this isnt up to quality, my controller has died after 4 months the connections are faulty and the lighting motions arent as smooth as the BTF version, avoid this e-waste

Unfortunately this device failed to work as described. On a known good string of pixel LEDs with the WS2811 chipset the controller failed to illuminate more than 5 of the LEDs So this was returned and a replacement ordered.

Acheté pour compléter une "chute" d'1m50 de ruban LEDs en WS2812 m'ayant servi à faire un AmbiLight via AmbiBox précédemment. Couplé à un transfo 5v 2A qui trainait, l'ensemble fait une merveille dans la chambre de ma fille. Coté appli, 120 modes disponibles + 1 mode auto, 6 couleurs fixes définies, et 6 autres personnalisables. Luminosité réglable de 0 à 100%, et également vitesse d'effet réglable. Attention cependant au branchement: pour ma part, j'ai supprimer la fiche, puis souder directement à la bande, et malgré le bon respect des fils (5V+, Gnd, Dat) cela ne fonctionnait pas. Puis après avoir inversé le coté de commencement de la bande, la magie lumineuse fût là. Il y a une polarité à respecter au niveau des LEDs. Du coté appli, on sélectionne l'appareil "SP110E", une fois connecté, on choisi le type de bande, le mode couleur (RGB, RBG, etc etc...), le nombre de LEDs présent, et tout fonctionne. Si les couleurs fixes ne correspondent pas, revenir à l'accueil, et choisir un autre mode de couleurs.

SP110e reçu en avance, conforme, l'app s'appelle "LED HUE" la difficulté de connexion Bluetooth viens lorsqu'on branche un boost de courant sur les bandes à led (+5vdc) il y a aussi à faire attention a l'amperage avant 2a 5v ça marche pas bien

En la app, no aparece detectado ningún dispositivo "SP110E" sólo salen un montón de códigos extraños. Lo estoy alimentando con un cargador de goolge pixel y un cable USB hacia DC5521. No sé si será problema de la alimentación de energía
